Dear Parent/Guardian,
I would like to introduce you to Triangle Fraternity, an organization that has enriched all our members’ college experience academically, socially, and professionally. Triangle Fraternity is a national social fraternity whose purpose is to develop balanced men in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, and Science by providing an environment which fosters personal growth and professional success. The active brothers and alumni of The Houston Chapter of Triangle pride themselves on being a group of well-rounded men who serve their community, participate athletically, develop socially, and achieve university recognition all while maintaining a grade point average above the university’s all-men’s average (Current GPA approximately 3.0).
Triangle Fraternity is a brotherhood that surpasses our collegiate journeys. With more than 25,000 men initiated, it is common to run into brothers at the most unexpected places ranging from volunteering at a NASA Design competition to speaking across a table during an employment interview. Because of the longevity and possibilities of this membership, it is important that our significant others, such as you, are informed and equipped with the available resources of this Fraternity.
We understand that as a parent/guardian the safety and enrichment of the young men in your life is priority #1. We as a whole enjoy dissolving the stigma behind “Frats” which mainly focuses on the negative consequences of membership. We have and follow strict policies against hazing, sexual assault, and substance abuse/use which not only protect us but also our friends, guests, and families. Please feel free to contact me at any time regarding these policies. For more information you can also visit the websites of NIC (North-American Intrafraternal Conference), IFC ( Intrafraternal Council), or Triangle.org( National Website).
If at any time you would like to learn more about Triangle Fraternity please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always welcome to provide tours of our Fraternity Home and even the University of Houston.
I hope that you find our organization, Triangle Fraternity, a suitable match for the needs and wants of the young collegiate men in your life. We look forward to enriching the experience of all our members and friends.
Sincerely,
Murtaza Zaidi
