Triangle & Athletics Since the founding of the Houston Chapter Triangle Fraternity, it has been a commitment to push brothers to their full potential by enlightening them of the essence of academics, leadership, sports, and community service. Sports for one have brought significance to the chapter because it has helped brothers create a closer bond between each other. Through sports the chapter has also simultaneously been able to meet other fraternities and make a name for themselves as individuals who know the meaning of sportsmanship. From spring 2006 to spring 2008, the chapter was involved in playing against fraternities of the MGC (Multicultural Greek Council). During this span of time the chapter was also involved in taking part in kickball and flag football tournaments hosted by Kappa Delta Chi. From fall 2008 to spring 2009, the chapter took part in competing against fraternities of the IFC (Interfraternity Council) in flag football, indoor soccer, and outdoor soccer. Sports have been a proud tradition to the chapter because it has given brothers a part of the college experience which will live on in our minds as memorable times we can never relive again. |
